A spec sheet compares cabinets to each other, which flatters whichever one has the biggest face. Name the opening once and every candidate is fitted to it with whole cabinets — then the numbers mean something.

A ● marks the highest or lowest figure in a row — not the best choice. Lowest power and lowest cost usually belong to the coarsest pitch, and that is the right answer only if nobody stands close enough to notice. Read the “At 4.0 m” row first: anything marked Too close is disqualified regardless of what the rest of the column says. Within the design band is the normal, correct answer — full merge is a luxury most rooms do not need and should not pay for.
