Four series.

A cabinet is a set of trade-offs between pitch, brightness, serviceability and mass. Nothing optimises all four. These four points on that surface cover almost every room we are asked about.

Nano

COB

Close enough to touch. Still no pixels.

Flip-chip COB for rooms where people stand within two metres of the wall — boardrooms, broadcast sets, flagship retail. The die is encapsulated in a single resin plane, so there is nothing standing proud of the surface to catch a shoulder or a lens flare.

Not forDaylight-facing atria. Nano tops out at 1,200 nits by design; if the wall faces glass, specify Core or Beacon.

Contrast

Surface
Monolithic resin

no lens standing proud — wipeable, knock-tolerant

P1.251,1004.3 m7,680 Hz
P1.56251,2005.4 m7,680 Hz

A 6 m × 2.4 m wall in the finest pitch of this series resolves to 6,400 × 2,520 px.

Core

SMD

The wall that runs for a decade and is never mentioned again.

SMD for corporate lobbies, control rooms and lecture theatres — the installations that have to be right on day one and invisible for ten years after. Front-serviceable module by module, so a failure is a five-minute job, not a scaffolding job.

Not forSub-metre viewing. Below about 1.9 m the SMD lens structure becomes visible; that is what Nano is for.

Stage

GOB

Eighteen trucks. Forty cities. One tool.

Touring and rental. Curve-lockable in 5° steps to ±15°, quarter-turn latches, and a cabinet that survives being loaded by a crew who have been awake for nineteen hours. Everything a tech needs to reach is reachable without a tool they can lose.

Not forPermanent fine-pitch install. You are paying for a road case that happens to be a display; a fixed job should buy Core.

Mass

Beacon

SMD

Rated for weather it will probably never see.

Architectural and out-of-home. IP66 front and back — not the IP65-front / IP54-rear split most of the industry quietly ships — with a 10,000-nit peak that holds legibility with the sun directly behind the viewer.

Not forAnything indoors. The brightness floor is higher than a room can comfortably take, and you would be paying for a sealed enclosure you do not need.

Ingress
